Setup FAQ

You send us your timetable and route details (a PDF, spreadsheet or link all work). We import your routes and stops and build your GTFS feed. We'll usually check back with you to confirm the exact location of your stops - you know your stops better than any map does - so the feed is accurate before it goes live. Then we validate and publish it, configure any product you asked for, and finish with a go-live checklist and a short walkthrough email.
Send your timetable through the contact form and we'll confirm the right tier and the scope before any work starts or any charge is made. If your data is clean and it's a single route, that's usually Basic; several routes is Standard; many routes, messy data, or multiple products is Complex.
We can estimate based on your data quality and how quickly you can answer questions. But once your feed is submitted, Google and Apple run their own review before your services appear in Maps, and that timeline is outside AddTransit's control — it can take a few weeks.
Everyday help is free — anything under about 10 minutes. For quick hands-on jobs of roughly 10–30 minutes there's the $39 Micro Support Pack, and larger done-for-you work is one of the setup packages above. We always confirm the price with you before starting anything paid.
Yes. There's no setup fee, so you can always build and edit your own routes, stops and schedule in the AddTransit editor. Getting the finished feed out is the paid part: hosting it and publishing to Google Maps (and other GTFS consumers) runs on the standard $15 per route per month plan — the same plan a done-for-you setup lands you on — or you can take a one-off $50 GTFS export that lets you download your feed file as many times as you like within a 24-hour window. The setup service just covers the done-for-you configuration on top, for operators who'd rather we did it or who need to be live quickly.
